Kobra 3 Max

Overview

The Kobra 3 Max scales the Kobra 3 platform up to a 420 x 420 x 500 mm build volume — roughly 88 liters — while keeping the same open-frame bedslinger design with a direct-drive extruder. It uses a PEI spring-steel bed heated to 90°C, a 300°C nozzle, and LeviQ 3.0 automatic leveling with Z-offset compensation to keep a bed this large properly calibrated. Anycubic lists PLA, PETG and TPU as ideal materials, ABS and ASA as capable but requiring more care, and PA/PC as not recommended — a reasonable set of limits for an open-frame machine without an enclosed, heated chamber. At roughly 19 kg and sized around 706 x 640 x 753 mm, it's a large but manageable desktop printer rather than an industrial unit. This model ships as a single-color printer with no multicolor unit included; Anycubic's ACE Pro can be added separately for 4- or 8-color printing. It's best suited to makers who need to print oversized single parts — props, cosplay armor, furniture components — and don't need an enclosure or built-in multicolor system.
