Overview

The Photon Mono 4 is Anycubic's budget-focused resin printer, built around a 7-inch, 10K monochrome LCD (9024 x 5120 pixels) with 17 x 17 µm XY resolution. Its build volume is a compact 153.4 x 87 x 165 mm (2.2 liters), suited to miniatures, small props, and jewelry-scale parts rather than large single prints. Light comes from Anycubic's optimized parallel light matrix, rated at 80-90% uniformity. Layer heights run from 0.03 to 0.15 mm, and the resin vat holds up to 0.39 liters, using standard FEP release film. Leveling is manual, via a 4-point adjustment process, and the printer is controlled from a 2.8-inch touchscreen. This is a USB-only machine — there's no Wi-Fi, LAN, or Anycubic app connectivity, and no camera for remote monitoring, so every job is transferred by USB stick and started at the printer itself. It works with Anycubic's Photon Workshop slicer. For buyers who want networked printing, failure detection, or a bigger build area, the step-up Mono 4 Ultra is the more capable option — the base Mono 4 is best suited to those who want a straightforward, lower-cost way into monochrome LCD resin printing.
