Overview
The Photon P1 is Anycubic's networked resin printer, built around a 10.1-inch, 14K monochrome LCD (13,312 x 5,120 pixels, 16.8 x 24.8 µm XY resolution) and a 223 x 126 x 230 mm (6.5-liter) build volume. Anycubic markets it as engineered for ultra-viscous resins up to 8000cps, with a COB-plus-Fresnel light source and NFEP "Wave Release" film that the company says cuts peel force during the lift cycle compared to standard smooth NFEP film. Standard resin prints at up to roughly 25-35 mm/h at 0.05mm layers, with layer heights ranging from about 0.02 to 0.15 mm. The printer includes a built-in 480p camera with LED lighting and a privacy cover, letting you check progress, catch failures, and record time-lapses remotely through the Anycubic app — not a high-resolution feed, but a genuine built-in feature rather than an add-on. Bed leveling is sensor-assisted; Anycubic describes it as self-leveling, though some hands-on reviews note it still needs manual confirmation at the vat. Connectivity covers USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 2.4GHz, and Ethernet/LAN, and it works with Photon Workshop, Chitubox, Lychee, and Tango slicers. The P1 is also the base hardware for Anycubic's dual-vat kit, which adds a second resin tank for two-color or two-material prints — sold separately, not included in the standard box.
