Overview
The Photon P1 Max is Anycubic's large-format resin printer, built around a 14-inch, 12K monochrome LCD (11,520 x 8,640 pixels) and a build volume of 285.5 x 214 x 300 mm (18.3 liters) — enough room for full-scale props, batches of miniatures, or multi-part prints in a single run. It uses a COB light source behind a Fresnel lens array (branded LighTurbo 4.0), rated at a minimum 4000 µW/cm² intensity, paired with 24.8 x 24.8 µm XY resolution. The Z-axis rides on dual linear guide rails with a C7-grade ball screw, which Anycubic rates for ±0.01 mm repeat positioning accuracy. The 1.9-liter vat is actively heated (up to 35°C), which helps high-viscosity resins flow evenly across the larger build plate. Connectivity covers Wi-Fi (2.4GHz), Ethernet/LAN with a network-isolation mode, and USB-A 2.0, and it ships with Photon Workshop 4.0 while also supporting Chitubox, Lychee and Tango. One caveat is that unlike the standard Photon P1, the P1 Max does not include a monitoring camera out of the box — Anycubic sells a camera module separately for owners who want remote visual monitoring through the Anycubic app. At 21.6 kg and 430 x 414 x 625 mm, it's a bench printer best suited to users who already have space and ventilation set up for a larger resin workflow.
