Overview
The AMS holds four spools at once and feeds whichever one a print calls for automatically, letting a single print use multiple colors or materials without pausing for a manual filament swap. It includes active humidity control to keep stored filament dry between prints, which matters most for moisture sensitive materials like PETG, nylon, and TPU blends. The AMS is built for Bambu Lab's X1 Carbon, X1E, P1S, and P1P printers. It is not compatible with the A1 or A1 Mini, which use the AMS Lite or AMS 2 Pro instead, built around a different mounting and feed design.
