Overview
The AMS 2 Pro carries over the four spool automatic feeding of the original AMS while improving the drying and humidity handling for each stored spool, which helps moisture sensitive materials like PETG and nylon stay print ready for longer between uses. It is confirmed compatible with the X1 Carbon, X1E, P1S, and P1P. Bambu Lab has also extended support to the A1 and A1 Mini through a firmware update, though as with any OTA rollout it is worth confirming your printer's firmware is current before assuming A series compatibility. On the H2D, the AMS 2 Pro's active drying can also be powered directly through the printer.
