Overview
Unlike a generic aftermarket plate, Bambu Lab's own Engineering Plate carries an embedded identifier that the printer reads automatically, selecting the correct bed temperature and calibration profile without you having to pick it manually in the slicer. It is optimized for high temperature engineering filaments and requires Bambu's own glue applied before printing any material, this is not a bare print and go surface. This is Bambu's current build plate, sized separately per printer. The 256 by 256mm size covers the A1, P1S, P1P, P2S, and X2D. The 350 by 320mm size covers the H2D and H2S. The 330 by 320mm size covers the H2C and A2L. Pick the variant matching your printer, the plates are not interchangeable across sizes. This plate is built specifically for Bambu Lab's mounting and identification system, so it does not interchange with generic third party plates of the same size.
