Overview
The X2D is Bambu Lab's premium dual-nozzle 3D printer, with a 256 x 256 x 260mm build volume. Its primary nozzle uses direct drive, while a secondary auxiliary nozzle runs on a Bowden setup from the rear of the machine, reaching print speeds up to 1000mm/s and 20,000mm/s² acceleration on the main nozzle. The chamber is actively heated up to 65°C for engineering materials, and the printer uses a servo extruder with real-time flow sensing and filament tangle detection. AI monitoring covers both a liveview camera and a toolhead camera. With the maximum AMS configuration (up to 4 AMS 2 Pro and 8 AMS HT units, 24 slots total), the X2D supports up to 25-color printing from its dual nozzles.
