Creality Thermal Paste/Grease

Overview

When reassembling a hotend after a nozzle change or heater cartridge replacement, a thin layer of this thermal paste between the heater block and thermistor improves heat transfer and gives more accurate, stable temperature readings. Without it, a small air gap at that contact point can cause the thermistor to read lower than the actual nozzle temperature, leading to under extrusion or temperature fluctuation during a print. Electrically non-conductive and metal particle free, so it is safe to use around the heater cartridge and thermistor wiring without risking a short. A little goes a long way, apply a thin, even layer rather than packing the contact point, and wipe away any excess before reassembling.
