Overview

The Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K was one of the first desktop resin printers to bring 8K resolution to a compact machine, pairing a 7.1-inch monochrome LCD (7680 x 4320 pixels) with a tight 22-micron XY resolution in a 165 x 72 x 180 mm build volume. A linear-projection LED light module and dual linear rails drive the build plate, with Phrozen rating maximum print speed at around 80 mm per hour. Its small footprint and vat size keep resin costs down for shorter runs. This is a miniatures-and-detail printer rather than a general-purpose one — the build area suits tabletop gaming figures, jewelry patterns, and small dental or hobby parts, but it's too shallow and narrow for larger props or full-size cosplay pieces. This is an earlier-generation Phrozen model, since succeeded by the Mini 8K S, so current stock and firmware support are worth confirming before listing it as a flagship product.
