Overview

The QIDI Q2 is a CoreXY FDM 3D printer aimed at makers who want high speed without stepping up to a larger, pricier machine. It shares its core motion system with QIDI's larger printers — a CoreXY frame on 1.5GT belts capable of 600mm/s and 20,000mm/s² acceleration — in a smaller 270×270×256mm build volume. The hotend runs up to 370°C and the bed up to 120°C, with a 0.4mm bimetal nozzle as standard and 0.2mm, 0.6mm, and 0.8mm sizes available. Like its siblings, the Q2 uses an actively heated chamber (up to 65°C) to help control warping on ABS, ASA, PA, and PC prints, and it includes a 3-in-1 air filtration system combining a pre-filter, HEPA filter, and activated carbon. A 4.3-inch touchscreen and an onboard camera (up to 1080p) for timelapse and remote monitoring are included, along with Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and USB connectivity. It's also compatible with the QIDI Box accessory for multi-color and multi-material printing. This is a good option for hobbyists and small workshops who want QIDI's speed and material flexibility in a more compact, lower-cost package than the Plus5 or Max4. A lighter-weight Q2C variant also exists in the lineup with a lower price point and slightly reduced feature set.
