Overview
Filament that has absorbed moisture from the air prints with visible stringing, popping or crackling sounds at the nozzle, and a rougher surface finish than the same filament printed dry. The FilaDryer S4 fits four 1kg spools in its 450 x 210 x 211mm chamber, heating them with a 350W PTC heater while circulating air to keep the chamber within 3C of the set temperature throughout. Heats from 25C to 50C in about 30 minutes, and runs up to 70C for materials that need more aggressive drying. Works as a standalone dryer on your workbench, or print directly from a spool while it stays in the box if you also run filament through it during a print.
