Overview
Filament that has absorbed moisture from the air prints with visible stringing, popping or crackling sounds at the nozzle, and a rougher surface finish than the same filament printed dry. The FilaDryer SP2 holds two 1kg spools side by side, or one larger 2 to 3kg spool, up to 250mm in diameter and 153mm wide, accepting 1.75mm and 2.85mm filament. Heated by a 200W PTC element with fan assisted airflow, running from 35C to 70C, with a built-in hygrometer displaying 10 to 90 percent relative humidity so you can confirm filament is actually dry.
